During the CES 2021 Consumer Electronics Show, Lenovo launched an extra pair of lightweight AR glasses called Think Reality A3.
Available to enterprise customers only, these glasses can connect via a USB type-C cable to your PC or Motorola smartphone.
Beginning in mid-2021, the Lenovo Think Reality A3 smart glasses will be available in select markets worldwide. The price, however, has not disclosed.
Smart glasses are part of Lenovo's comprehensive integrated digital solution that includes the advanced AR device, Think Reality software, and mobile phones from Motorola.
"Whether working in virtual spaces or supporting remote help, the Think Reality A3 enhances workers' abilities to do more wherever they are," Jon Pershke, Intelligent Device Group's Lenovo Vice President of Strategy and Emerging Business, said in a statement.
In order to allow users to position multiple, large virtual monitors in their field of view and use Windows software tools and applications, the Think Reality A3 PC Edition tethers into a laptop or mobile workstation.
The Think Reality A3 Industrial Edition tethers the choice of Motorola smartphones1 in complex work environments for hands-free, AR-supported tasks.
It fits like sunglasses and, for safer and more durable use, can enhanced with industrial frame options.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon XR1 Platform powers the AR smart glasses for high-quality performance and features stereoscopic 1080p displays that present up to 5 virtual displays to the user.
For remote professional use cases, an 8MP RGB camera provides 1080p video, while the dual fisheye cameras provide room-scale tracking.
