Facebook is working on "Project Cambria," a high-end virtual and augmented reality headset. The device, which was briefly teased during Facebook's Connect keynote, has cameras that transmit high-resolution full-color video to the headset's screens. It's supposed to have innovative features that Facebook can't yet include in the Oculus Quest lineup, but there's no price or exact release date yet — though Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg says it'll be a "completely new" product that will be at the "high end of the price spectrum," and that it'll be released next year.

The name follows previous Oculus codename standards that correspond to California regions.–for example, the initial Oculus Quest was revealed as Santa Cruz.
