Even though I adore the Oculus Quest 2 and believe it to be the best VR headset ever created, I can't deny that it has a few flaws. Although it's a completely self-contained wireless headset that can use on its own or wirelessly connected to a PC for PC VR gaming, it's so aggressively uncomfortable that it almost feels like they designed that way. It helps to replace the stock head strap with Oculus' official Quest 2 Elite strap, which costs $39 and it's a different game level.

Esimen's head strap works in the same way as the official Oculus version: it snaps into place on either side of the headset and can be tight or loosened as needed with a dial on the back. They made its padding of a thick layer of PU foam, and it's actually a smarter design in some ways: the strap is more flexible, and the dial is easier to wrap your fingers around when it's on your head. Unfortunately, a complete redesign will be required to make the headset truly "comfortable," but at $26, it's an affordable way to improve the headset's fit and feel, especially for extended VR gaming sessions.
